Pickled Onions

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup white wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground white Kampot pepper
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced

Directions

  1. Whisk together vinegar, sugar, Kampot pepper and salt until sugar and salt dissolves.

  2. Place onions in a container with a tight lid and pour vinegar mixture over.

  3. Let stand at room temperature for at least 1 hour. Drain onions before serving.
