- 1/2 cup white wine vinegar
- 1 Tbl sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp ground white Kampot pepper
- 1 red onion. thinly sliced
- Whisk together vinegar, sugar, Kampot pepper and salt until sugar and salt dissolves.
- Place onions in a container with a tight lid and pour vinegar mixture over.
- Let stand at room temperature for at least 1 hour. Drain onions before serving.
